My Story (Project 23)
For years, I was caught in a cycle of addiction—drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction. I knew I was meant for more, but my impulses held me back from reaching my true potential. On January 23rd, 2024, I made a life-altering decision: to get sober. That choice transformed my life.
I hit rock bottom and realized that if I didn't change, I would end up dead or incarcerated again. I needed to change—for God, my family, and myself. Alcohol and cocaine had taken a hold of my life and I was on the verge of losing it all. That's where I decided to not only be sober but take back my life in all aspects. Because January 23rd is my sobriety date that's where Project 23 came alive. Along the way during sobriety I realized clarity and that I needed to work on myself as a whole because these were things that were numb along the way because of all the vices. "You are the greatest project you will ever work on" and I knew Project 23 would be a whole project for me hence the name. Because of this and Sobriety this lead to the birth of starting a movement that would transcend not only the Sober community but everyone looking to be the greatest version of them selves. It started with getting sober and the rest is history.
I finally found purpose and thats when I decided I wanted to give back and do something meaningful. Fashion has always been a passion of mine, so I thought, why not combine sobriety with a sense of luxury and style?
SOBR SZN CLUB was born from this vision. The name signifies that while seasons change, staying rooted in one's beliefs and values is paramount. No matter the challenges, I choose to remain sober in every season.
The butterfly logo represents transformation. Just as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, I have undergone a metamorphosis through sobriety and faith.
Our motto, "Better Than Yesterday," encapsulates the essence of the brand. It's about taking life one day at a time and striving to be better each day.
SOBR SZN CLUB is more than a brand; it's a movement. It embodies confidence, style, and the message that sobriety is a strength, not a limitation.
